Tropical rainforests fringe the mountains, giving way to carefully cultivated rice fields.
Bali is also fast developing a reputation as a sought after golfing destination. Golfers are coming from all parts of the world to play on "Bali's Top Three" 18-hole championship golf courses : Nirwana Bali Golf Club at Tanah Lot; Bali Golf and Country Club in Nusa Dua; and Bali Handara Kosaido Country Club in the mountains of Bedugul; followed by Bali Beach Golf in Sanur and Lombok Golf Kosaido Country Club . |
